How can I find out if my late mother has a life insurance policy?

Hello friends,
My mother died recently. Ten years ago, my mother took out a small life insurance policy to pay for her funeral expenses. The beneficiary is my stepfather. The stepfather does not even recall a life insurance policy. He wonders if she had cashed it out. How can I find out if a life insurance policy still exists? Those unclaimed fund sites do not usually include life insurance policies, and the life insurance company may not know that a death has occurred.

1. First policy terms should know.
2. Policy holder may be expired, concern nominee should approach to lic office.

Dear you are having only one way left

Just go to the LIC head or divison office which belongs to ur place...

Then tell them that ur mother is not well, ur r the nominee. but u dont have the policy no. so plz. find it out on the basis of name and address...

just try it out and then reply me what happend...ok
